Hand to Hand Festival
Since 2020, we have been holding the Hand to Hand Festival independently and with extensive involvement from practitioners of this technique.
Until 2024, there were five editions of the Festival, promoting dialogues between the class, generating meetings for the evolution of technique and thinking about it and mainly the promotion of greater diversity of people, techniques and aesthetics in the field.
The Festival is concerned with expanding access to interested people, and despite never having received support from public notices, it carries out all the actions by the hat, with partnerships to still hold classes, exhibitions and talks with a quality structure.
In the 3rd edition, we launched the ACROMATCH platform, with the aim of mapping and pairing practitioners. In the 4th edition, we partnered with Mundo do Circo to bring new meters to the Festival. The 5th edition took place in July 2024 and broke attendance records!

International Circus Festival Hand to Hand 4th Edition: Fostering the future
The program included a 'Circus Experience for the family (with a hat), two varieties with a wide representation of the hand-to-hand class, consecration of yet another Spirit of the Festival Award, and our traditional Hand-to-Hand Meeting, which brought together almost 70 people!

In 2022, we held our first fully in-person edition, and we managed to keep it completely up to date! The edition had the theme 'Crossing Places' and held actions in Santos, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, São Bernardo, and Ribeirão Preto. A program from October to December with a free training course , a hand-to-hand workshop , a workshop , a number show , and a graduation ! This year, we also created two awards with the aim of recognizing people and their trajectories. The Spirit of the Festival award was given to the great artist, hand-to-hand professional - specializing in statics - João Marcílio, creator and artist of the company Duo Urbano; and the trajectory award, given to our student Camila Flues, honoring her path in learning the technique, with pride in where she has come.

2nd Edition: meetings
With the success of the 1st edition, we decided to hold the festival annually, and we would try to obtain funding from public notices and partnerships to develop it in the best possible way. In the 2nd edition, which took place at the end of 2021, we held the MaM Festival in a hybrid format, online and in person, in partnership with Galpão do Circo and with the support of artists and hand-to-hand practitioners.

We also carried out 2 online actions: our traditional Online Number Show , available here , and the Mapping and/or pairing project for Hand to Hand duos and groups , which was named 'acromatch'.
Através de uma parceria com a empresa Simpli e com Thiago Balducci, o projeto se tornau uma plataforma on-line de cadastro de praticantes de mão a mão, viabilizando levantamento e mapeamento de praticantes, e também dando aquela força para as pessoas que querem encontrar uma dupla ou que querem marcar treinos em diferentes regiões. O projeto nasceu como ideia em 2021 na 2ª edição, mas foi sendo construído a longo prazo e só foi inaugurado na 3ª edição, 11 de novembro de 2022.
1st Edition: dialogues
The 1st edition was entirely online, with 5 days of programming in December.
The Festival included two performances, three chats with circus companies with excerpts from their shows, a video art broadcast with chat and two discussion panels. The number of participants and audience was greater than we could have imagined!
